Steps of a Typical SPR Experiment

4. Regeneration

If the dissociation is slow and incomplete the surface must be regenerated between analyte injections. To remove antibodies and/or other proteins: use 5-150 mM acid (hydrochloric, phosphoric, formic or 10mM glycine pH 2). Prior to beginning a kinetic experiment the method should be tested to insure the regeneration conditions are not denaturing the surface.
